It's about that time where I,
Kelly, have to write a little something to update you guys with what's been
going on with us.
So! We took a little trip down to Durban for a photo shoot last weekend. With me being slightly hung-over from the previous evening, and waking up at 3am for our roadtrip, it was quite inevitable that I was going to be pretty exhausted close to photo shoot time. Needless to say, it turned out amazing! With the sun setting perfectly behind us for some awesome shots, and with the wind in our hair, we got some pretty cool pics. We will be posting the photos soon, but in the meantime, below is a sneak peak of our Durban photo shoot! This is a huge thank you to Lisa Stayt for her amazing work. So after releasing our very
first single and taking a trip to Durban for a photoshoot, next for CMK is getting back into the
studio to continue with our EP.
My
song of the week is from one of my favourite South African bands, Plush. In addition to
their incredible ability to make beautiful music, they are just amazing to
watch live! A stage presence so absorbing! You can even catch them this
Saturday at Tanz Café, 3 August ’13. You won’t regret it.
